Project Description

Job Specs for prestahop 1.5 module.

We currently have a system on our website [url removed, login to view] that allows the use of a "Starter Kit"

The starter kit ( [url removed, login to view] ) is a special product in which we can add a set amount of products
see here [url removed, login to view]

For each starter kit a product from each category can be chosen and once all of the products have been added to the cart a discount is applied.

Currently this start kit system is a direct hack of the prestashop 1.3 [url removed, login to view] in classes.

We are now migrating prestashop to the latest version 1.5.4 and we require this functionality to be moved to version 1.5 as well as some extra
functionality and turn this in to a proper module that can be administrated by non technical staff. So we will need to have a configuration area on the back office where someone can do the following:

1) Create a new kit which appears as a product on the system and has set price such as $52. Can be named what ever we choose to call it.
2) Add a list of products / and / product group that will be available in the kit. So we can either add x products to it from egg molds or the entire egg molds category
3) Set the amount to discount by in either $ dollars or % percent of the total value of the products in the kit.

This module should warn the shopper if they try to proceed to checkout without fulfilling the requirements of the kit. At least 1 of every product available to the kit should be added for them to be able to proceed to the checkout. The module should also prevent them from checking out if they have not added all of the products in a kit.

Please go to [url removed, login to view] and test the starter kit for yourself and you will come to understand how it works and how it should function.

We expect to be able to add multiple different starter kits and also expect that people will buy several different kits at the same time.

The successful bidder will be agreeing to not sell this module to any other company especially out direct competitors in the online bento / kitchenwares area.

We also require this module not to be sold on the official prestashop module store [url removed, login to view] or in any other way shape or form since this "functionality" and "method" of offering a kit is unique to Neat 2 Eat you agree that all copyright and other rights to the starter kit module
both in concept and in code remains the property Neat 2 Eat and we retain full intellectual property rights.

We will require to see some previous examples of your work running either on a test site or one which is now live on another shop which can be verified as programmed by yourself and if required will need to see an example of your code.
