Project Budget$750 - $1500 USD
Your job will be to design, create and provide on-going support for a statistics program written in MYSQL and PHP.
You will be given a set of 1 million objects, and about 5,000 objects will be added to the database every day.
Then we will need to find the most effective ways of querying the database for mass statistical data on the database.
We will be using the data to show datapoints on graphs and other useful info.
The statistics should then be instantly accessible via a large set of searches, by approx 100 users, everything needs to be instance.
You need to plan for the future and figure out a plan that will allow 2million object+ objects added to it yearly and what will happen in 10 years when this reaches around 50million objects, with billions of connections between the objects.
The MYSQL will be hosted on [url removed, login to view] and PHP side on a VPS.
I will have to explain this in more detail, but before you bid please be available for the next few years for on-going support an maintenance of this project and be around to solve any bugs or crashes. You will also need to give me a vague idea of how you will be going about this before I even consider your bid. Please answer these questions and provide as much info as you can about you via pm.
What PHP extensions will you use?
How will you plot the datapoints from mysql on a graph?
What other innovative ways do you have to display statistics?
How will the statistics be viewed?
Where will you start?
