Implement given Javascript function to AJAX form in html page

I am looking for someone who knows Javascript/AJAX very good.
Task is to implement given JS function inside regular form. The custom JS function should be triggered with "onclick" call when users hit the submit button and submit the form.
However, the form is interactive and written in AJAX, so you have to know AJAX to be able to solve this problem.
For someone who is well informed, my estimation is that task should not take more than 10-15 minutes.
