I am looking for a software package to track/display the performance of employees. Employee classifications: Sales Reps, Service Engineers, Shipping and Receiving, Administrative and Advertising. All users are to have a client program installed on their computer with their login; and it should highlight their work and also display others progress for comparison on their own dashboards. Also there should be company dashboard that is to be displayed on a TV monitor. Everyone should be able to enter text/comments for admin’s review.

Sales Rep’s: When they make a sale, they are to enter the sale amount ($), item(s) sold, invoice number, and assign the sales to a Service Engineer and also enter time (hours) that the service engineer should spend on that particular sales order on their client program. The DashBoard should automatically display the sales agent progress for reaching the quarterly and yearly goals in terms of % (the goals entered by the admin). This display could be a circular display like speedometer in a car; or a bar chart.

Colors in the dashboard: for the quarter and the year (normalized) reached;

Sales 120+% Flashing green

Sales 100-120% Green

Sales 80-100% Yellow

Sales 60-80% Red

Sales 40-60% Flashing red

Service Engineers:

When a Sales Order is assigned to a service engineer, it should display in their dashboard in a bar that shows the invoice number (no $) and items to be tested made ready. There could be a number of SO’s assigned to a service engineer. They should all list under his account; but pending (additional ones) should be in white color until the previous job is completed; or, he/she should have option to switch between the sales orders. But the clock should only work on the current SO he is working on (just like the chest players clock). Once a service engineer finishes his work on a SO, and put “complete” in the system, it should go to the Shipping/Receiving. If service engineer cannot meet the time, should be able to enter a comment why; like waiting for parts to arrive etc. System also keep track of their time; especially the if they are not working on a Sales order. Let’s say they are learning/working on a unit, they should be able to enter that, and it should show in their and company’s dashboard as they worked x hours on a system to learn.

Up to 80% Green

80-100% Yellow

100-120% Red

120-150% Flashing red


Shipping and Handling (whole as a group, not individuals)

When a Service Eng completes his work, it automatically goes to shipping/handling’s dashboard as Pending Shipments. The sales person also enters the time that should take to package this order. And the display is just like the service eng. They should be able to enter comments and time for special projects as well.

THERE COULD BE MORE THAN ONE ADMIN PERSON; AND FOR EACH, THE SYSTEM ADMIN WILL ASSIGN TASKS THAT ARE EITHER 1-TIMED OR 2- JUST TO BE COMPLETED WITH OUT TIME STAMP. For timed tasks, the system admin, will enter the time to be completed. The system should also keep over all progress as tasks completed on time, or not just like others. They should be able to enter comments and time for special projects as well.
