ZF2 Load Translations from a database

We use Zend Framework 2 for our web application. We are running version 2.2.2.

We are working on I18n and want to load the translations from MySQL database tables instead of files. We found a tutorial at this site:

We can also provide some sample code from someone else who has implemented it, but we haven't been able to figure it out.
