PLEASE READ BELOW FIRST AND DO NOT SUBMIT GENERAL PROPOSAL If you simply google MapToBuy, you will see our website, we target mainly UK market, we are still working on the website development. it is already responsive to all devices, however we would like to make/design a separate version for the tablet and mobile. The ideal solution is to have just one design and one concept for both tablet and mobile. As we are always trying to do different ideas, this project will have to be different than any other mobile website, we want to use the finger slide option as much as we can and eliminate the link as much as possible, therefore please see below features/ideas that must be included in the website version: Slide right means to move to the next shop, keep in mind that each shop is having a unique URL, so the when slide right, that means moving from URL to another. Slide left means go back to the previous shop, same concept as the above point. Slide up means go to the up category, I will explain more here: for example for the category "Electronics" we have 5 subcategories "Gaming, Phones, Computer, Audio& Visual and Cameras", and each subcategory has a lot of shops, so if we are on a shop "Apple" which is in Phone category and slide up, that should direct me to the subcategory Phone, and if we are on the Phone page and slide up, that should direct me to the main category electronics. Slide down means showing more details for specific shop, such as map, contact details, rating and reviews,..etc In case of the mobile phone does not support finder slide, the user should be able to see small buttons/link to do the same above features. Any page should be loaded in less than 1 sec, if you need any specific requirement for server, you should say that in advance but the speed of the loading is A VERY IMPORTANT ASPECT. The website should be working fine without any problem with all mobile versions such as blackberry, iPhone, Andriod, Samsung, Nokia, windows mobile phone, so it should be compatible also with all sizes of mobile/tablet screen. Minify your code as much as possible and Eliminate redirects. Load contents lazily, Transfer data when needed and preload where appropriate. Don't load images that will never be seen by the end user. Time-to-text on mobile is important. Consider downloading the previous and next image to increase UI speed, but don't load images that are far "out of reach." Use CSS3 instead of images where possible Very important to ensure the code is clean. The idea to make the design very simple and easy to use, the user must be able to use it without a problem. Eliminate refreshing the page as much as possible, just refresh the box/area that user requests information from.
