Program needed. I need to have data scraped/extracted from a classifieds site and then imported into my classifieds website database. The purpose is to populate my website with Ads.
My selected candidate for extraction is [url removed, login to view] Alternate sites are [url removed, login to view] or [url removed, login to view] or [url removed, login to view] There are thousands of classified sites where data can be extracted from.
The extracted data will be imported to my website [url removed, login to view]
For receiving the listings on my site the needed 6 fields are: .(EMAIL ID). .(URL address).
(CATEGORY). .(THUMBNAIL of PHOTO or Url ). .(TITLE - one line). .(DESCRIPTION - 3 lines).
I want a script that will allow me to gather classifieds one category at a time.
Once I select the category/subcategory to be extracted the script should ask me how many classified ads I want to gather.
All extracted classified ads should be shown in a file or the results page. For my selection and approval. of some or all the extracted listings.
From here I should be able to 'Import' the Ad into my site. I should be able to select the category where the Ad will go on my site and then click import.
If the script tries to import any Ad and it finds a duplicate email already in my database, then I should be able to reject that email Ad.
Please show me a test or demo by extracting and placing on my website a sample of 20 Ads. If satisfactory then the job can be awarded to you.
For clarifications contact me and also show examples of other extraction/scraping scripts you have done in the past.
