TRISTAR is the leading manufacturer of authenticated autographed sports memorabilia. Each autographed item is affixed with a hologram and unique number which, when entered into the database, includes information on who signed it, what it is, when, where, etc. Customers can then enter this number online to view and print a certificate of authenticity. We currently use Microsoft Access to manage the database and for data entry. We need a new system that allows for real time entry online such that customers can immediately view their authenticity rather than waiting hours, and in most cases currently, days. We currently only have one template for the certificate and would like to have several based on the number. For instance, all numbers are currently seven digit numerical numbers. We would like to start using alphanumeric such as T123456 which would then trigger a separate certificate with more or less data. Please go to [url removed, login to view] to view the current site. We need this changed so we can better present the data an offer more. We would like for customers to be able to register their items and be able to create a "MyTRISTAR" page that lists all their items, be able to add photos, bring in real time pricing and more. We need a simple yet thorough entry system for PC and or mobile that can handle entering 1,000+ entries per day. A system that get the end user involved from the start whereby they enter their user information and data on their item and then we scan or us NFC to transfer the data, verify it and or add the hologram number and make it live is one consideration. We do signings in public and in private. We can do 100s of the same item or 100 different. We need something simple yet precise. A first screen with the chooce of public or private might be a good starting point followed by a series of questions that begins to populate the fields needed.
