We would like to build a basic business system using Access as a base. The system is to cover our marketing process, sales process (quoting stage to order stage) through to a warehousing process. The business system will draw customer accounts, orders and quotes information from MYOB accounting program and from that base we can then add custom fields relating to a customer, that are not available in MYOB easily, and add custom status to client orders to track their progress through our warehousing process.
We are a small business, and as such we are not looking for complex ERP functionality. We can furnish data that is to be worked with and tables built from, however we need assistance in building forms and reports.
The project will initially be a commitment for possibly a month, and we will then review and introduce the system to staff. Once implemented there will be ongoing requirement for say weekly improvements to the system.
