Project Description

This is for a small button "switch" within Zen Cart admin - CODE ONLY , with installation instruction.

We have a highly customized Zen Cart, and we have a custom add-on including a database table named restricted_products containing an auto incremented field to hold a unique ID, and a second field products_id related to a given product_id. This switches on/off a flag whether a product has been listed on other websites or not (I.E. eBay) so our custom export software will ignore it in later exports.

We need a way that, in the admin panel, when viewing products list we need a way to turn it on or off. (Add or remove from the database table)

Ideally, for the list view , the button will work *JUST LIKE* the active/inactive (red/green) button so that we can simply click it and turn it on or off.
(update the restricted_products table.)

It should work exactly like the inactive / active button in zen cart admin , (in fact, located next to it) but, it needs to be a different color scheme (Blue/Black, perhaps?)

Once that is working, we need a simple instruction guide to installing it in our cart (Much like adding an add-on - it MUST NOT replace any existing files. )

Coders familiar with Zen Cart should find this a very quick and simple project

database table : restricted_products (id bigint(20) unsigned auto_increment, products_id (int(12) unsigned default NULL)

The Zen Cart admin is pretty much standard to all most zen cart versions 1.3.x -
