Hotel & Hostel Booking System

1) We are currently looking for someone who has done similar work to develop for us a simple first an offline and depending on trial convert to online **Hotel & Hostel Booking System** to be installed on our computers where travellers can call us on the phone or come into our office and we can make a booking for them based on the rooms available from different hotels and different hostels in the area we cover. 2) The hostel & hotel list should be comprehensine i.e. contain all hostels and hotel in London for example. The idea is that we contact the hostel or hotel and offer to book their rooms based on such request to us. if they are happy to work with us they give us information which we the fill into a template and saved including rooms type i.e. singles, double, twin, triples or quads and their prices etc. The hostels or hotel tell us their availability of vacant rooms for booking which stays in the system. 3) The idea is that we will have a database with a full list of all the hotels and hostels in it and we should be able to quickly search for either a hotel by name or the price they charge or by star rating. We will then be able to make a booking for that hotel or hostel. We are open to suggestion especially from someone who has developed similar projects in the past as to the best way to go about building such a system. Funtionalitie will include: 1) Imput Hotel & Hostel by Name 2) Assign ID Number 3) Search by name or according to price 4) Make a Booking 5) Booking is saved in database for future refence 6) Print a copy of booking for customer List is not exhaustive ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform ALL platform
