Dear Sir/Madam, I am happy to start a new project. I already have a very good foundation of the idea. I will try and make it as clear as possible but know that many of you will still have questions. Please do not hesitate to ask me! I will answer asap always! Here the project: Nowadays there are so many social networking websites (facebook, blogs, myspace, etc.) Users are confused and want to have everything organized and on one website. I need you or a team or programmers to make me a website where a user can log on and have all his websites on. The start webpage should be the same style as facebook, so when the user logs on he can see what new things have happend since his last log on. This mean that for example on Facebook a few friends have posted new things on his wall, on his myspace website he has 5new friend requests and his blog has 3 new comments. The user should be able to easily see these new thing and with one mouse click on them be able to log into his facebook, myspace, blog, etc and look further into the things going on if he wants to. The website should be able to add new accounts. So let say a user has got 3 blogs, one facebook, one myspace website he should be able to add all his logins to my website and have everything on the start website. It should not be a problem to add new websites later on for me, the admin, or that you could do it if its a bit harder to implement.
The website should run on a linux webserver on whichever programming language you think is best! I believe PHP and MySQL will be the best BUT if you think another would be better go ahead!! 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
Probably PHP and MySQL BUT if you have a better idea or think the website will work better on another system go ahead! It wont be a problem for me as I will setup a webserver for this website and anything can be installed on it! Important is that the website should work on all common webbrowser (opera, ie, firefox, safari, mozilla) I think these are the main ones. If you have any questions please ask me! I will be there to answer them !
