Project Description

For our Video portal (based on Surveillance & Video Management), which already supports live streaming, we are looking for building up an additional module for Video Browsing:

The portal is built on PHP & MySQL and Live Video uses Flowplayer.

Key features required include:

a) A scheduling front end GUI for setting up schedule for the Video Recordings (for weekdays with possibility of choosing time slots)

b) A browser/ CMS, which displays various Videos stored in the Amazon S3 bucket (that user has permission to view - user permissions are already defined)

c) The user shall also have possibility to filter Videos by up to 3 possible criteria (requisite tables and criteria are already defined and need implementation in GUI only)

d) Once a Video is selected by User, the stream is played back on flowplayer, with following features:

i) Playback control buttons like Pause, Play, Forward, Rewind,

ii) Possibility to take snapshot of Video

iii) Move "xx" frames forward/ backward

iv) Delete/ Archive Video (in S3 bucket)

e) The possibilities to display several still frames from the video side by side (in grid view) should be available

i) Possibility to move forward/ backward on still frames (by 'xx' frames)

f) Provide Video Statistics reports (say 3 tables and 2 graphs) from existing tables and data available

g) The video browsing shall support two types of Videos: (a) Video Records (b) Video Alerts

Kindly respond only if you have experience of building Video Portals in past. Past experience of integrating with any opensource CMSs (like Joomla/ Drupal/ etc) will be a plus

More details will be shared with shortlisted partners.
