I have a report made in Excel. It contains loads of graphic element such as charts, images and so on. The first sheet contains all data that populates the rest of the document.
What i want is to be able to put a csv-file (or if you prefer / if it's easier: from mysql-database) into the first sheet, and then export the document to PDF. My dream is to have some kind of loop that listens for new .csv-files in a folder, and once there is a new: process it, create PDF and delete the .csv-file - but anything that makes it possible for me to create the report on the fly is fine.
All graphic must not be destroyed which is the case when using some of the available excel/php-libraries. The document is also optimized for pages, and the PDF must be aswell so that printing isn't a problem.
It must be 100% automatic, so macros in excel doesn't apply (since I would have to open excel).
