Project Description

Here is what I need to do. Open File - reads the data from the text file. The user will be prompted to enter a textfile name ONLY. Not the path with the file.(Just need to enter [url removed, login to view])Make sure that your text file is in the same location as the progrm and then use the [url removed, login to view] feature to build your file name path. If the user doesn't include .txt at the end of the filename you should then append that to the end of the filename. Create a text file with several lines of the following information "Employee Name, 2letter Dept. Code, Wage, Hours" With each record read in you need to display the following in a locked scrollable text box: Name:{Employee Name} Department:{Department Name} Wage:{Wage} Formatted as Currency Hours:{Hours}Formatted to two decimal places Overtime HOurs:{overtime hours} if none must = 0 Pay:{Pay} Formatted as currency. ***Must be able to able to track up to seven employees. Need at least 2 text files.********** Department Codes are as follows: MK- Marketing, IT- Information Technology, PY-Payroll, AC-Accounting. Need a cmdSummary button to display information in a label box with totals for employees,OT hours, and pay, and need to create an output file to write department summary to. Use the input filename supplied earlier appended with [url removed, login to view] We are using option buttons for totals information and checkbox for department codes. Thank you. Please email if you have questions.
