Convert a Template to a Website

Essential expertise in WordPress and website visitor experience and SEO. A good amount of initiative and creativity needed to work with the owner of the Viseum business to give support, and take instructions and on occasions give advice.

This new website design is being finalised now and over the next few days. We need this expert to take over the final testing of the design aesthetics feedback:

• test new WP website design and report all bugs – all major PC and mobile, Smartphone and tabloid browsers. I.e. Multi-browser compatibility (Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari and Opera)

• export current WP media library over to new wp

• WordPress content management - for example all site icons and images to be compressed optimised and SEO meta tagged, transfer all WordPress content (all content copy, images, YouTube, videos, file downloads) from existing published WP site [login to view URL] over to new designed WP site.

Project Stages

1. Test new website design with navigation structure published on test web server - there are a few outstanding issues being done now

2. analyse our comprehensive key word target list and agree initial targets that are already in place.

3. help the selection of the best images and quotes for the "main page large images" for selected pages and Install them in WP slideshow plugin.

1. Create some of these images half the height to have the same large font comments on selected pages, and with no slide show.

3. Study New site kw and navigation from Page content, navigation and notes. Create all posts and distribute all posts and sales assets throughout the relevant pages of the site. -create at least 30 posts/pages per day with complete copy, images, assets.

4. Identify and distribute all images throughout the site.

5. copy content throughout the relevant pages of the site - Viseum to supply all copy -

6. SEO the entire site.

7. Publish at [login to view URL] -

8. Install and setup Google, Bing tracking code - and all other plugins.

Existing and new URL’s

• Maintain google ranking for all pages throughout the existing website. So that we maintain all of our page 1+ ranking and improve index positions from the start of publishing the new WP design. The current websites URL's must be used for the new site navigation.

• Where there are existing URLs that cannot be used in the new website, they are to be diverted to the relevant pages of the new site (404 thing?) – for example the current website has a section “products” and another section “solutions”. The new website has merged these into the one category “product solutions” – e.g. both have a page on facial recognition, we take the highest ranked page and then divert the other to this page.

Sales asset file downloads - using WP Filebase

The use of the WP Filebase plugin is essential for this. The Viseum business has many "sales assets" sometimes known as "sales collateral" in the form of many brochures, datasheets, presentations and white papers. These will need to be made available for download on all relevant pages throughout the site. Two simple uniform designs will be used i.e. a simple vertical presentation on a side bar e.g. [login to view URL] And a horizontal design:
