Project Description

The winning bidder of this project will be responsible to create an entire working video upload/aggregation site. Please only bid if you able to complete all aspects of the project. Professionals only, no hobbyists please.

The site name is [url removed, login to view] will be a site dedicated to users of the micro four thirds format of Panasonic video and still cameras. The site will allow users to upload samples of their video projects, provide a forum area for discussions, offer "administrator posted" educational videos, as well as news on industry happenings. Here is a link to a site that offers everything I want [url removed, login to view] to offer ([url removed, login to view]). DO NOT BID ON THIS PROJECT UNTIL YOU HAVE VISITED THIS LINK AND ARE CONFIDENT YOU CAN REPLICATE ALL THE FUNCTIONS OF THIS SITE! There is no hard deadline for this project however I will expect frequent updates with proof of progress.

Please keep in mind, I am a graphic designer and will provide all the psd files for the look and structure of the site. The winning bidder will be responsible for very little, if any, design work. The winning bidder will be responsible for taking my psd. files and creating a fully functional, working site including testing for bugs within all the major browsers. I have included a pdf file for viewing however the winning bidder will receive the actual psd file or whatever file format they prefer for the finished design work.

The site will need to look exactly as it is designed in the enclosed file. I am willing to make changes if need be based on the winning bidders suggestions. In looking at the file, please keep in mind that everything above the line in the middle of the page and the text "recent videos" (red text) will always exist for the user. It is the content below this line that will change. Everything above this line will act as the navigation for the entire site.

Here is a list of what the site will need:

1- The ability for user to become a member (register). Once registered they can view their account/profile which will offer their picture, messages received and sent, contacts, videos they have uploaded, videos they have saved from other members.

2- A simple about page that will offer text based information about the site.

3- Contact Page - a form for the user to contact myself or the administrator of the site.

4- A "Tools" box which will allow the user to upload their video, share a video link, or invite a friend

5- Main site Picture will rotate between 4 pictures

6- Links for social networks and RSS feeds

7-Recent Videos - where the black boxes currently exist on the enclosed file I want videos that the users upload to randomly be placed. There will be a total of somewhere between 6-12 videos.

8- Top Navigation Links (Knowledge Base, Videos, Members, News, Gear)

Knowledge Base - This page will be videos that are uploaded only by the site administrator(myself).

Videos- This will be the page that is shown in the enclosed file. The page will be all the videos uploaded by the members. The number will continually grow from a few originally to thousands. We will need a way to navigate through these. Simple page numbers will do.

Members- A section of all members, done like this link([url removed, login to view])

News - Section for the administrator to ad news articles. Needs to function like a blog so the members can post comments on the articles

Forum - Forum for the members to communicate.
Gear- This section will function just like the news section except the articles will be specific to industry gear related topics.

I will also require an administrative panel that will allow me to run the site.

Please let me know in your bid what application you will be building this site in. Good luck bidding, please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. Additional information can be provided.
