Within our existing Wordpress website, we have dozens of embedded youtube videos (10-15 min long) which are videos of people being interviewed - ie: the person is being asked questions and providing answers.
The links for these Youtube videos are already stored within our Wordpress database, and we already have a backend interface that displays all videos submitted, and allows our editors to publish / unpublish / edit the videos on our website.
What we need you to do:
The backend interface should allow an editor to add one or many questions for a specific video to our database via a form, AND specify a specific time (minute and second) within the video that the question was asked at.
Our existing backend already has a UI that lists all the the videos in our database. We therefore need you to provide use with an API so that we can add a “View Questions” option within this table.
When “View Questions” is pressed, the link should load your backend plugin for the particular video on the same row.
Your Backend plugin should allow the editor to ADD/EDIT/MODIFY/DELETE/publish/unpublish questions in the database for the particular video being edited
Front end Widget
Currently on our website, we have displayed several thumbnails of Youtube Videos which have been retrieved from our database.
We need you to create for us a Front-end Widget that displays the Video in a popup when its thumbnail is clicked. In addition, the popup will display hyperlinked questions in a list format in a column next to the video, that were asked during the interview. Each question will have a specific time associated with it (as specified in the backend user interface). If a question is clicked by the user, the video player should jump to and play the video at the time specified
The questions and times for each question shall be retrieved from the database.
