Project Description

We need modifications made to well-developed Drupal 7 theme, Sencillo ([url removed, login to view]). The theme is a clean, basic responsive design- but needs some modifications across its responsive break points. It is currently being provisioned for a landscaping company. The primary purpose is as a portfolio to showcase the company’s work (in photos), but it will also serve as an informational site and blog.

First, the home page view needs to be modified to add two content blocks.

The majority of the work will likely lie in the portfolio changes we need made. In its current form, portfolio items are created and assigning them to an album (denoted by a taxonomy term belong to the vocabulary “Album”). Other previously developed views within the site then display the “Albums” within the portfolio as pages. The issue is that the original author intended everything to reside in a single, combined portfolio- however, we need to be able to have several portfolios. There are several solutions to this problem even including cloning out the existing views and blocks, creating additional vocabulary, etc. each time a new “portfolio” is needed. If you have the time to take this job, we can discuss your ideas in more detail.

Additionally, one of the main views we use, the portfolio-explorer, needs the addition of a left side-bar that works like the other views we have with a left sidebar.

Finally, we need some basic styling/CSS tweaks (colors/links/etc.) and could also use some instruction on how to modify and edit certain areas of the site.

The most difficult piece is probably the timeline- we need these modifications in the next 5-6 days.
