Project Description

The successful bidder will build a website with the following functionality:

Functions (elaborated upon in attached specifications document:

• Fully functioning Directory –integration with Google Maps, Twitter and Facebook. This will also be integrated with a rating system that will allow end-users to rate a listing in the directory.

• Content Management System for site administrators (to administrate every part of the website) and business owners who have a listing on the directory

• Logon system – end-users will need to log in before rating a listing. Business owners will also need to login when they want to amend their listing(s).

Technologies/Programming Languages used:

HTML5

CSS3

jQuery (if required)

Google Maps API (to show location of each business)

Twitter API (to share listings in the directory on Twitter)

Facebook API (to share listings in the directory on Facebook)

(Any other language/plugins required to build the solution can be used, but needs to be HTML 5 compliant and compatible. They will NOT require end-users to install anything additional).

If there is a pre-existing solution/programming code that can be modified to meet our requirements, this can be used (software/code that does not require a license or payment to use commercially).

In addition to being able to view the site on all major browsers (e.g. IE, Firefox, Chrome, etc), the website will be cross-compatible with multiple devices, including the iPhone, iPad, and Android devices (multiple CSS sheets will need to be created to cater for varying screen size of these devices)

Please see attached document for further details.
