About your Project
LNB wish to establish and manage a Web presence for the purposes of publishing information on LNB Pty. Ltd. Additional deliverables are:
- Establishing the LNB site on an ISP in Australia where content can be managed by LNB
- Establishing the [url removed, login to view] domain for the site.
We are seeking quotations and looking for the site to be available for general access by mid-August 2013.
The site should be seen as an online brochure, presenting a professional and capable business image.
Content will be minimal and authored by LNB as a separate exercise.
Web 2.0 functions such as e-commerce will not be required.
The website has a number of different stakeholders:
- existing customers
- existing suppliers
- new/potential clients
- customer project teams.
The main audience is organisations requiring IT management services in Victoria, Australia.
There are no definitive design specifications – however, a professional manager image is required.
I am seeking suppliers to provide use a template approach, adapted for LNB.
Sites that are similar to that required for LNB are:
[url removed, login to view] - good, clear & simple site
[url removed, login to view] - more graphical, but still simple & effective
[url removed, login to view] - even more graphical, but very professional brochureware site.
Design suggestions from the supplier are welcome.
Please include an allowance for 5 iterations of the Web site review – this means the site will be presented for review by LNB people, with feedback provided by LNB and applied by the supplier – this can occur up to 5 times.
Navigation is via menu options, consisting of:
- Home – single page
- Services – leading to a list of services
- News – leading to a list of news items
- About – single page
- Contact – single page.
The site should be designed so that it incorporates relevant accessibility features, but there are no specific accessibility requirements.
2.6. Cross compatibility
LNB site to be compatible with:
- Firefox 3+
- Safari 4+
- Chrome 5+.
Content is required to be edited by LNB people.
Please provide a short description how editing is to occur. The preference is for an in-built rich-text editing function as part of the LNB site.
Content editing should not require entry of HTML code before it is published.
If workstation software is required for content editing, this software should be specified.
Site content to be administered by LNB. Site support to be provided by an ISP.
Authentication is required before content can be edited.
The LNB site is to be hosted by an ISP located in Australia (and therefore subject to Australian laws).
Also, the domain [url removed, login to view] is required to be registered and directed to this site.
Please provide separate costing for the hosting, and the domain registration.
2.10. Ongoing relationship with supplier
After delivery of the website, there is likely to be ongoing work where problems / changes will be identified and need to be resolved.
The supplier is to specify an overview of the process for resolving these problems, with approximate costs per hour for ongoing work.
