I want to create a website that displays graffiti art in a new and dynamic fashion. Optimized search engines, tagging and more. I want my users to be able to search for specific elements of a graffiti art pieces. As you are hop fully aware graffiti art has different attributes such as color, shadows, 3D, arrows, extensions, and more. I have some specific functions that need to be added in order to make madflix successfull:
-custom slide show options that show which top photos have had the most traffic throughout the site. "Traffic" is defined as most likes, views, and comments. I want this to be able to be viewed by guests as well as users.
-any photo displayed on the front page will have a share button to any social network. Twitter, facebook, etc. Upon sharing the photos to facebook, the facebook comments will be shown on madflix, being viewed by everyone, surfing the site. The point is for each site to be integrated with eachother.
-Custom profile pages with specific questions such as:
-When did you start writing graffiti?
-What are your current or previous tags?
-What crews have you been in/are in?
-Top 10 lists of favorite writers and crews on the website, which change depending on user activity.
-Options for users to create pages(similar to Facebook) for writers, crews, and photographers.
-There must be a Madflix logo in the right hand corner of the page at all times.
The User Page:
-The user will be able to categorize their photos by: Recent, popular, and interesting. However this will all be in a custom slideshow format similar to the front page. What is different from the user page and the front page is that it too will have comments from each social network it has been shared on, but these comments will change(crossfade transition) as the slide show changes.
-Users will be able to turn the slideshow feature on and off depending on their choosing.
-Madflix optimized search engine will allow users to search for colors, elements, styles of graffiti, free of saturation and spam.
-Users will be able to tag other user's photos like flickr, but there will be a auto fill option that will find their tag as they are typing it. When users tag colors, a color wheel will pop up and allow the user to tag the exact color they seen on the screen. Then when another user is searching for that color, they can just click the color wheel. Users will be able to search for multiple tags and colors at a time.
You must be sure to check out this video of me explaining this idea in great detail, it will help out more than the text: [url removed, login to view]
Thank you for your time,
-Sam Montgomery, C.E.O., Madflix LLC.
p.s. make sure you have a skyping option because we will need to be able to talk with eachother.
