Need to modify "Add to Cart" function in OpenCart so that items can be added to the shopping cart only if the selected option value has a price greater than 0. An additional field was created called "list price" and the base price was set to 0 for all products to avoid adding option prices to a base price. For example, before adding the field "list price" if a product had a base for of $10 USD for an indiviual item and an option price of $40 for a case of 4, then selecting the option for a case of 4 resulted in adding the $40 option price to the base price of $10 for a total of $50. But the true price should only be $40. In order to maintain a correct total price, the displayed price is the newly added "list price" and the base price was changed to 0 so the calculation in the above example is $0 base price + $40 option price and is now correct. The problem is that you are able to add an item to the cart with the default option value "Select.." with an option price of 0. The result is a product is added to the cart with a price of 0. In order to correct this, a conditional statement is needed so that an item can be only added to cart if the option value is greater than 0.
I would also like to have the invoice display modified for both the customer and in the admin panel so that only selected options are included in the invoice instead of all available options.
