Penny Auction Site
- Status Closed
- Budget $250 - $750 USD
- Total Bids 18
I am launching a penny auction site, but it's not exactly your typical penny auction site, here are the things I need...
-The site needs to have a clean and beautiful design (i.e. dealdash, quibids) - it must look professional and like it was made in 2012, not 2002
-It needs social integration (visitors can like auction items via facebook, tweet them, etc.)
-It needs to support purchase via PayPal and GoogleCheckout and it should be made easy to add more options.
-It needs to be able to sustain large amounts of web traffic (penny auction sites are very data demanding)
-It needs to be able to allow the admin to create free auctions (the users bid with purchased bids but do not have to pay a final price), this is going to be the main attraction of the site.
-It needs to allow the admin to set custom timers, instead of the typical 20 second timer at the end of an auction, it should also allow the admin to create lower and higher timers as well
-Must allow promotional codes
-Needs to be VERY user friendly
-Needs easy creation, modification, deletion of bid packages and auctions
-In the admin panel, it should be setup so that daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly profits are recorded and displayed.
-Must have an autobid *also known as "bidbutler"* feature which allows users to have a bot that automatically bids for them.
-Must allow the admin to send out newsletter emails to all registered users, and should also automatically send out shipping confirmation emails and emails notifying bidders that they won or lost an auction.
-The front page should have a rotating photo banner in which the administrator can post material promoting certain auctions, on-going promotions, etc.
-In addition it needs to have the same general functionality as sites like Quibid, DealDash, Beezid, etc.
-Must be secure (https, etc.)
-Must provide admin and users with detailed auction history, winning history, order details.
-Must have a clean, good looking logo
-It Cannot be a clone or mod of any existing/closed sites
I will provide the winning bidder with any necessary information (domain name (url), etc.) you are expected to install everything yourself. Serious bidders only.
All bidders should speak English and should be available during the day, on the weekend, etc.
All graphics used or created must have secured rights for a commercial website, these rights will then be transferred to me along with all intellectual property rights. You are not allowed to post any of this work upon completion into your 'Portfolio', testimonials, etc.
The winning bidder will most likely be needed again in the future if I continue to use the site they designed.
Once the winning bidder is selected, they will be required to sign a contractual agreement containing the terms of this agreement.Get free quotes for a project like this
