Project Description

Hello,

I produce approx. 100 different pieces of printed items for one customer that sit on my shelf until they request a quantity of one or more to be dispatched to them at any one of 14 offices in the UK. This is at present running on a website I part created, but alas the director of the company hosting the website and web building software has gone awol.

I have a new domain registered and hosting prepared with fasthosts in preparation for a replacement site.

Customer front end…
Small graphic banner at the top of the page.
Unique customer login and password for 17 different people/offices as the landing page.
Thereafter, a single webpage showing up to 100 different thumbnails with a brief description of the product and a changeable unit quantity next to it.
Each login only see’s printed items listed that are applicable to them (majority of logins will only see 30 items i.e. Bristol office do not need to order Nottingham’s Letterheads or envelopes etc. if that makes sense).
A submit order button at the bottom of the page to complete.

Behind the scenes…
Trigger email to person that ordered and to me listing the order placed and customer that ordered. Date and a unique order number would be nice for reference but not essential.
There is no requirement for a shopping cart or a facility for money transactions whatsoever.

Although I am sure there are many more functions the website could have built into it, it really does not need to be any more complicated that the above unless there are any suggestions from your experience that believe worthwhile.

I am able to provide all graphics as required along with descriptions etc.

Ideally, once the site is created, I would very much like the ability to add, remove or amend items and log in details myself.

I would greatly appreciate an idea of cost and time frame and if there is any difficulty in instructing me on how to amend items (I am semi intuitive with regards to PCs etc.)

All advice and or suggestions will be gratefully received along with any questions to me that are needed.

Kind Regards,

Matt
