Hi There. I am searching for help with 2 tweaks on one website:
When creating a website for a small non-profit [url removed, login to view], I made several changes to the CSS style sheet, the woo commerce files and some of the core files. When WooCommerce or Wordpress updates, the changes to be overwritten. Need a solution so everything will remain in tact. I can provide a list of files that have been changed.
Add a check box to the donation page where users can choose to pay the fees of the credit cards or PayPal. When the user visits the Donation Page, they will see that they have chosen to pay the fee and how much the fee is. If they did not check the box, then they proceed as usual with their chosen donation amount. If it is possible, it would be good if they could turn this off again, should they change their minds before checkout. The check box can be placed either on the initial donation page where users enter their amount, or in the WooCommerce section before checkout (see the options in the mock-ups attached).
There are two separate rates that need to be calculated:
Discover, Visa, Paypal, & Master Card = 2.2% + $[url removed, login to view] per donation
American Express = 3.5%
