Rate My Social Worker, LLC (RMSW) is a start-up company who is currently seeking to hire a web development company for website management and marketing. The purpose of the Website is to provide an avenue for individuals to rate social workers who currently provide advocacy and information or other services to the public. RMSW seeks to become the preeminent social networking authority on social workers / case workers, which will create substantial traffic on its site from the millions of civilians who work with social workers annually. The RMSW website should be designed to accommodate America, Canada and Europe, and navigate similar to www.ratemyteachers.com. Once the Website is creating a sufficient amount of traffic, RMSW believes that the Website will create a substantial amount of revenue from third-party advertising. Accordingly, RMSW seeks to enter into a Revenue Sharing Agreement with a Web Development Company to work together in accomplishing this task. Example of a Revenue/Profit sharing model: The web developer is taking all the risk, but the developer sees the value of my idea. So how about the developer redesigns the website at a cost (for example) $5k, so there is some compensation for the risk. There are a couple of things we can do. 1. The first $10k the website makes goes 100% to the developer, and after that we split profits 50/50? Or we reflect the risk in the revenue share from day one. So my investment is $5k, but the revenue split is 70% to the developer, 30% to me for a set number of years. Thank you, Dawn Faust
