Project Description

RetroDaze is a homage to great Retro and Pop Culture websites like [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], and more. Visitors become registered users in order to submit written articles and videos related to the 70's, 80's, 90's, and beyond. In exchange, their peers can rate the submitted articles, providing a "RetroRating". By submitting articles and videos, receiving positive RetroRatings from articles, commenting on articles and videos, etc., users gain "Points" as well. These "Points" can, at certain levels or intervals, be "cashed in" for actual money; transferred to them via PayPal. Users have in depth profiles providing personal and statistical data. An Admin panel that allows for manipulation of just about every aspect of the site would need to be developed (I hate manipulating code, though I have done so in the past).

Visit [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], and [url removed, login to view] to view a "mock" version of several of the most important pages that need to be created (among others). The HTML "mock" pages contain placeholder text and images that will function as design elements for the final product.

I also have some Microsoft Word .docs with additional information regarding the site's development that have been uploaded here. Please keep in mind that these documents are not a complete breakdown of every aspect of the site, but a core group of ideas to work around.

I can create any design elements needed for the site.

Also, visit [url removed, login to view] for research on how the site should function, as RetroJunk is a model for the development of this site.

Please ask if you have any questions.
