I have been trying to get together a Social Networking Website with several open source applications (Wordpress, Drupal, Ellg, Jooomla) and spent countless times trying to make them work with no luck. The closest I came to was Dolphin as it had most of the basics for social networking and the store but if you think you can make this work better with an open source content management system with built in social networking let me know. Here is what I need:-
The website will have two basic user types, these users can sell services, such as events and service packages between them. They will also be able to ask/send donations if the event is lets say free. Admin should be able to take a percentage of each sale/donation or charge a booking fee.I am not looking to set up membership based access but maybe in the future. This is not going to be a dating site so tweaking will have to be done to searches, fields, php files etc. I also would like to tweak the template a bit if we use Dolphin so it looks slightly different to the default. If you are not sure what kind of work you need to do please ask before bidding. Revenue will be coming in through percentage of service sales, booking fees, percentage of donations ( I will also need a module that allows me to sell advertising space on the website). As the admin I will be responsible for posting articles, workshops, moderate the website's forum, issue refunds etc. Users should be able to have their own blog free and chat, send files between each other after they paid for the service. I have started to build the website based on drupal and then dolphin if you want to look please ask. There might be some other adjustments as the website evolves so please think of contingency when bidding. The website must be fully functional before final payment and I would also like a 30 day support after completion in case of any bugs.
Thanks for bidding.
