As a form of introduction, this customer operates a Taxi Cab service, and therefore operates a call centre to receive calls for the Taxi service and subsequently dispatches an available Taxi to fulfill the order. The Vicidial server is already running but needs the following and therefore will aptly explain this customer's requirements hereunder:
1. Include a "Dispatch" button on the Agent's screen to allow the agents dispatch a taxi to the customer. Clicking on the "Dispatch" button opens up a screen and displays such fields as Name, Address and Telephone Numbers (as captured from the primary customer page of the Agent interface); the agent will then be able to enter other additional details in the underlisted fields (as collected from the current customer):
o Pickup Location
o Drop Off Location
o Taxi Number Dispatched
2. Include a "Pre-Book" button on Agent's screen to allow an Agent pre-book a taxi for a customer who has just called in. This button will be viewable while receiving a call from the customer. Clicking on the "Pre-Book" button will open up a screen and displays such fields as Name, Address and Telephone Numbers (as captured from the primary customer page of the Agent interface); the agent will then be able to enter other additional details in the underlisted fields (as collected from the current customer):
? Pickup Location
? Drop Off Location
? Date and Time of pickup
o Once the Pre-Book is done, the Agent on duty receives some sort of alert or notification about this "pre-book" at say 2 hours (can be modified) ahead of time so the Agent can dispatch a taxi.
o The “Pre-book” page will also feature the “Dispatch” and “Cancel” buttons, to enable the Agent dispatch a Taxi to go pickup the customer who pre-booked the service OR cancel such pre-booking, in the event that the customer is no longer interested in the service.
o As stated above, clicking on the "Dispatch" button will bring up the page to enter the customer additional details. The "Pickup Location" and "Drop Off Location" fields will be pre-filled (though it can be edited), leaving only the "Taxi Number Dispatched" field.
The above additional operations will also appear in the appropriate places on the reports page.
