Project Description

We want a website about a specific segment in the IT hardware industry built.

As for the payment, we would like three options; basic, pro and a corporate package, all of which where one pays a monthly fee. The packages differentiates in how much of the website one can access.

- The websites needs to supply information about a lot of products (maybe about 500 pages total), where you make the template and we fill the pages with all the data we have collected. We are talking product categories and subpages for every product with specs. Simple pages though. There should be a very efficient search function, which we will elaborate.

- We would like a sort of "help-desk" developed. It's sort of like a forum, perhaps more in the line of ask.com. One opens a ticket (asks a question) where people can answer. The answers are then rated, and systemized by their relevance. It needs to be possible to highlight certain profiles for their effort, award "expert"-avatars etc. It is important that the forum and the profiles are an integrated part of the website and not seperate. As a guest (not logged in), one should be able to see the questions, but not the answers.

- Standard pages such as front page, contact, news etc.

The target group is technicians, brokers and end-users dealing with the IT hardware segment. It is important that the website is userfriendly and professionel. If you have the skills, feel free to also give a bid with logo design included (even an animation film if you know how to do that). We have got the domain, [url removed, login to view], which we want to use.

As for the launch, we need a "teaser" site where people can put their email. Also, we would like to be able to have certain people test the page prelauch for reviews.

These should be the most important things. Feel free to ask anything.
