Project Description

We are looking to create a site integrating a multivendor shop, and community forum / bulletin board. We want both to be seamlessly integrated to single user logins. We need both of these elements to be maintainable by our staff and so have been looking at existing software with administration control panels.

Up to now we have been looking at Cs-Cart or magneto Multivendor software, and phpbb for our forum. We are however happy to use anything which gives the required functionality.

Wherever possible we would like the possibility to update the integrated multivendor, and forum softwares without having to re-write the whole site.

Our concept requires 3 groups of user :
Customer (simple access to website, and forum).
Contractor (Access to whole website including forum, and shop)
Supplier (Access to all website, and Multivendor Seller)

Also required is:
The ability for customers to search for contractors in their area.
The ability for contractors, and sellers to post searchable employment opportunities on a job board.
A few simple integrations such as a blog page

As per the attached layout / design proposal there are also several standard web pages. Visually and functionally the site wants to be fluid, matching, and unified for the user.

If the multivendor, and forum softwares can me integrated, and attached layout applied any we can add any further content ourselves.

As with most project we want to keep costs as low as possible. Initially we are looking at project feasibility , and for an estimate cost. Based upon this we would hope to choose a developer, and progress the project by clearing up any inevitable questions, and issues.
