Our Client in seeks a proposal for website design for their local branch in Uganda. This is expected to inherit their head office website theme/appearance; however this may change during implementation stage since our Client’s headquarters is also planning on upgrading the website.
Below is an overview of what the new website is expected to accomplish, however the consultant should carry out a full requirements study with key stakeholders.
The website should present our Client’s image as portrayed in the organization’s profile for example the services provided, partnerships, as well as the different directorates that make up the organization.
The website is expected to present the dynamic and up-to-date nature of our Client services.
It should be interactive to allow visitors to submit their views and comments.
It should interface with our Client’s social networking pages, in that, visitors can also share, like, re-tweet posts on the website.
The website should also provide for a document repository where by our Client can share quarterly reports, annual reports and newsletters with the public.

It should also present Logos of our Client’s donors and partners.
The website should be open-source and our Client seeks to reserve all the rights for this project. Therefore the supplier should provide all design documents for the website and provide six months support after the close of the project.
The supplier should train the public relations team on content management and the web administrators on the website maintenance and upgrade issues.
