Our existing site is already built on drupal and we want to transfer over the blog content and whitepapers.
We are thinking of creating our new site in wordpress as we would like a single page homepage and responsive design. The theme amaze seems to do what we would want. [url removed, login to view]
The main page will look like the attached "very rough" design. The first line of the text "INTELLIGENT" will slide in and out as different
text such as "BEAUTIFUL", "TRIGGERED" etc. and maybe the background colour will pulse slightly from the bulb (we will sort out the background image)
The 2 menus would always be visible as you scroll.
On the first page we are thinking :
Automation – like the Services link [url removed, login to view] but without the animation on the text. The 6 boxes would be something like cart abandonment, browser abandonment, post purchase, form abandonment, welcome programs, date triggered
Integration – this can be like the aboutus page [url removed, login to view] and the 4 blocks can be Salesforce, MS dynamics, Saleslogix and Sage ACT
When you click on one of the boxes i.e. cart abandonment it takes you into another 1 page design and the main menu options
a the bottom change to "cart abandonment, browse abandonment etc" and the top menu stays the same. There will be a back button to take you back home.
We are a fairly technical company but have no experience of wordpress and need some help getting started.
We have lots of experience with drupal in house but none with wordpress so hence we need some help getting this project under way and possibly customisation of the theme as needed.
We have a cloud instance running the new theme http://ec2-46-137-113-173.eu-west-1.compute.ama... but are struggling to get the basics up and running.
Stage 1 is to get the background image in place with the 2 menu's. Then each of the bottom menu options should link to content lower in the page using some of the layout components available in the theme.
