Linux Administrator

Cancelled

Three month contract to perform Linux administration on our server network.

Currently there are 8 internal servers all synced/mounted together (one server is acting as a Linux router and the two t1's are set up there) and 5 external servers that are mounted to our internal servers, 2 T-1's for redundancy, 1 DSL line and a Cisco router.

We constantly set up domains, name servers, websites, email, special applications, etc. There are linux scripts that we use and they often need to be modified.

Knowledge of Java Servlets, PHP, some Perl, is very helpful as we run many proprietary programs. Knowledge of databases like MySQL and IBM DB2 also would help.

An efficient person should be able to take care of our needs in less than 20 hours a week.

Contract maybe renewed and ongoing if work is satisfactory.
