Visual Basic .NET, will consider options
Platform Windows XP and or Windows 98
Will need to include an install program. (msi installshield etc.)
A Hidden program that runs all the time without the knowledge of the terminal user.
The user will NOT see the program in the task bar
The user will NOT be able to Kill the program (turn off) or uninstall.
The program is a notification that required service is needed and pop up a dialog box with a message and phone number.
When installed the program needs to be accessible by the installer with a password determined at installation.
All the program needs to do is pop up a dialog box (should look like a windows dialog box) that covers a size of two thirds of the monitor with a button in it that clicking on with a mouse would remove it from the screen. Like an OK button. Once the time frame for the dialog box has arrived even though the users clicks on the ok button in the dialog box, the notification needs to keep returning in predetermined time intervals (adjustable from 5 minutes to 180) until which time I access the computer and perform the service and reset the programs reminder time date . The dialog box needs to be able to change the text in it when the password is used. I would need an administrative module that would allow to change the date for reminder time, the text of the message and the period of the display. The program needs to load automatically with windows. (Not in the start up group are anyplace a terminal users could stop it from loading)
The Dialog box MUST appear on top of all opened programs.
There also needs to be a master password that always works along with the password that is set at installation. The dialog box will a contain a phone number. I need that to be a field at the bottom of the dialog box that is verified with a password based on the phone number. Sample can be seen here
