Save a TXT File on Visual Basic

This is a very easy project, all I need is someone to make a Rich Text Box and let the user save what is says in it, however the only thing is when I make one the normal way after saving a TXT file with a Rich Text Box I get this when I open it though notepad, If I type "My Text" into the Rich Text Box I Get this: {\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\deff0\deflang1033{\fonttbl{\f0\fnil\fcharset0 MS Sans Serif;}} \viewkind4\uc1\pard\f0\fs17 **My Text** \par } but I want it to say: **My Text ** I know this must be very easy but I just cannot get it to work, Remember it must be though NOTEPAD it just comes up with what I type in without all the HTML stuff.
