We are building a support web site for our product. Part of the site has a number of online manuals. We have a set of hierarchical categories (ordered by slug) with posts as content (ordered using date).
We'd like to be able to select a parent category and export the subcategories and pages as static HTML. This will create us a stand alone HTML manual that we can distribute with the product. The links between the posts need to continue to work (next / previous plus any links embedded in the content) and navigation should be similar to our existing tree sidebar (see picture). The manuals contain pictures so these need to be downloaded and included too.
