Populate SinglePlatform API Data Into Wordpress Directory Theme

I want to build a directory of restaurants that will be populated by using an API provided by SinglePlatform.com. The directory will be based on the Wordpress theme called DirectoryPress. The final directory must be able to be searchable by cuisine and location (city)... For example, a visitor should be able to type into the search fields, "pizza" and "San Diego" and return results of restaurants in San Diego that serve pizza.

Each business will have a listing page providing details about the business. The menu should have it's own tab within the business listing page. So, when a visitor clicks on a business listing, the default view will be the business details and information, and there should be a tab to click on that says "menu" and then the restaurant menu will be displayed within the same page area. I can email URLs of other directory sites with tabs in place if you need examples.

This should be a simple job for someone who is familiar with open source Wordpress themes, databases, and working with developer APIs. The theme will already be installed on the site. The site address will be given upon reward of the job.
