One Million by One Million (1M/1M) is a global virtual incubator that aims to nurture a million entrepreneurs to reach a million dollars each in annual revenue and beyond by 2020, thereby creating a trillion dollars in global GDP and ten million jobs.
We are looking for a web site admin to manage the One Million by One Million portfolio of site ([url removed, login to view]) and blog ([url removed, login to view]).
The blog is a relatively basic WordPress based blog with common plugins and a couple of custom plugins. We have certain issues with some of the social media sharing plug-ins that need to be addressed.
The 1mby1m site is a paid membership based website with cimy user
extra fields, mingle forum and other common plugins plus custom
plugins to provide trial memberships, etc. The idevaffiliate affiliate
manager app. is integrated. Also, several external services are
integrated with the registration process through their APIs:
2. Zoho CRM & Zoho Campaigns
The desired candidate needs to have comprehensive knowledge of handling a subscription site, handling merchant account issues, etc. as well as Zoho API. We also have integration between Eventbrite and Zoho. In fact, the site works in tandem with Zoho and Eventbrite, and solid understanding of both of those APIs is needed. We would very much prefer knowledge of Zoho in general as well.
Also, we own a number of domain names, and some reconciliation across domains would be needed as we standardize the brand on the 1mby1m domain. Currently, we’re working on the [url removed, login to view] domain. This transition would need to ensure that we don’t break existing links.
All domains are hosted currently on RackSpace. We also use Rackspace email ids, but will need to move to a different email system soon.
There are a couple of static sites on additional domains that simply need preservation, and they have no real administrative overhead.
Our backups are kept on Amazon AWS. This needs to be done regularly.
Also, we maintain a public YouTube video channel where all public roundtable videos are published.
All curriculum videos and private roundtable videos are stored on Vimeo and also published on the premium site.
Across all these services, there is a large collection of login credentials that needs to be securely maintained.
In terms of the soft qualities, we are looking for someone with good communication skills in English, a highly professional approach to business, strong technical skills, and a trustworthy track record that we expect to be able to validate through references.
Please apply only if you are a full-time freelancer.
