We are a publishing company which produces 6 titles including AudioTechnology Magazine. We are seeking a talented web developer to help meet our needs. We currently have a wordpress site at [url removed, login to view] but we are in need of a full re-build. We have purchased a wordpress theme ([url removed, login to view]). But we do require a large amount of modifications to achieve our desired result.

Im a graphic designer, so you will be liaising with me in terms of sites look and feel.

The following items are our main modifications:

--

HOMEPAGE

(please refer to attached mockup - which is not complete)

The chosen theme currently uses jQuery isotope ([url removed, login to view]) which we would like to retain with a few modifications. This is easily the biggest component of the whole website. Some changes are as follows:

• We require the site to be 100% width of the browsers window, must display correctly on mobile devices as well.
• we have 6 items do be displayed on the homepage.

• Features (Largest Rectangle)
• News (smallest Square)
• Tutorials (Same large rectangle as Features)
• Reviews ( Large Squares)
• Videos (Large Squares)
• Advertisements (the small horizontal rectangle)
• Call to action buttons (various sized rectangles)

All these would belong in their respective wordpress categories, and all these items would be wordpress posts. These would all be
clickable and would then go to their respective post.

The Nav at the top would allow you to filter what you want to see. Very similar to the isotope demo.

The footer would need to remain static on the homepage with infinite scrolling to be used on the boxes.

For the advertisement sections, we use AdRotate as our plugin and wish to continue doing so. i believe using some PHP code this can be implemented.

Ideally, this layout will be sued on multiple templates such as the homepage, Category page, Search Results & Authors posts.

REVIEWS

(please refer to attached mockup - which is not complete)

The chosen theme currently has a review engine, which does not use the same criteria we use to review our products, so this needs to be modified. We use a very basic pros and cons.

A "Need to know" box as we call them will include:

• Price
• Contact
• Pros
• Cons
• Summary

The review box is to float on the right hand side (where the sidebar would be) and scroll with the page, so it is always in view.

The review fields should be labelled correctly and fully editable in the back end, including the title of the field, for example, 'Price' is sometimes 'Projected' and 'Contact' is sometimes 'Distributor'

VIDEOS

We would like our youtube channel to be displayed very similar to the this page [url removed, login to view]

With the most recent video up the top and a list of our other videos underneath. The colour scheme should almost be reveres of the rest of the website. Black background, white text with our yellow highlights.

--

FOOTER

The footer need to be redesigned and built from scratch to include our logo, a menu to be controlled form the Wordpress menu option. Will also include a field were a user can type in their email address to sign up to our mailing list.

The footer will be at the bottom of all pages except for the home, archive & category pages where it will sit fixed at the bottom of the browser where the content will have infinite scrolling.

This job only requires you to modify the provided theme based on the above brief ensuring its working/compatible with all of our plugins. We will be doing all content insertion etc.

We look forward to your submission and working together in the future, depending on the outcome of the project, it is possible there could be further work needed.
