create 2nd "blog page" within Wordpress

Hello, In my Wordpress site, I'd like to display a page amounting to a second blog, i.e., one that is only different from the primary homepage of the site in that it only displays posts from a certain category. In *all* other regards (pagination, inclusion of social media buttons with each posts, length of excerpt for each post, etc) I want it to display the information in the *same* fashion as the site's "real" homepage. I've tried using plugins like "list category posts," but it doesn't seem to include the social media buttons with each post as does the homepage (see screenshot at [login to view URL]). Other solutions seem to run into issues such as pagination. Again, it's important that this second blog page behave in *all* regards like the site's homepage, except for that it limits itself to posts from one category only. I can pay up to $50 for this.
