This project is about creating a wordpress template that basically should display the content of all sub-menu items on the page of its main menu item.
Here is a more detailed description.
Please also take a look at the html file for clarification!
- 6 menus should be available in Dashboard - Appearance - Menus, with the names "Menu 1", "Menu 1" etc.
Each menu has one main menu item (in this example "Menu 1") and could have several sub-menu items ( "Menu1 Item1" etc.)
Here is an example for a menu that is created in the Dashboard - menu panel:
- Menu 1
- Menu1 Item1
- Menu1 Item2
- Menu1 Item3
This should be the structure of the template:
A) Display all main menu items with a link to the page in an unordered list WITHOUT the sub menus
B) Display an unordered list that shows only the sub-menu items of the page.
Each list element needs to have a link with its name starting with a hash-tag (the href needs to be sanitized)
( So the standard links of the sub menu items need to be stripped and a #-tag needs to be prepended to the link )
C) Display the content of the sub menu items
Each list element should have an id with the title of its menu name (the id needs to be sanitized)
