Project Description

The objective is to implement HTTPS POST client for transferring purchase orders to a vendor which may be done daily, and to receive their response to the processing of the purchase orders.

The source of the purchase orders is an excel file which have all the needed information.

You would need to transfer the file format into an XML format (we will be willing to buy a program if needed) and then implement the HTTP post. This task would be done daily so we need to have an easy way to do it with clear instructions for any person in the organization to be able to do it.

Afterwards, the supplier would provide us with a HTTP past informing of the result of the implementation. We would need the file as well in a excel format to import the information into our system.

Further information on the HTTP post requested by the supplier is available on the following website: [url removed, login to view]

The file we have prepared is enclosed.

After you provide us with your work, we will send the purchaser a real purchase order to test your program for sending him the purchase order and receiving back the information. We will not consider the work complete till the process work properly and smoothly. So kindly allow for post assistance/adjustment if needed.

Further follow on work may result for the other posting.
