i need to create a custom import field that works with magento.
the custom import field will include 10 different pricing structures.
e.g
product sku: 2424DG
[login to view URL] customer: $30
[login to view URL] customer 1-10DZ:$28
[login to view URL] customer 10-20DZ:$26
[login to view URL] customer 30-40DZ:$24
[login to view URL] customers 40-50:$22
[login to view URL] 1 (special pricing special customer) :$20
[login to view URL] 2 (special pricing special customer):$18
[login to view URL] 3 (special pricing special customer):$16
[login to view URL] 4 (special pricing special customer):$14
[login to view URL] 5 (special pricing special customer):$12
If you are a random web customer you will only see 1-5. however if you are existing customer that has been assigned a tier pricing you will see 6-10. depending on your pricing.
the way i want to import the csv file would be
sku,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10.
also keep in mind i have 2 other different files that i import into magento. 1st. is entry of new products 2nd. update of inventory 3rd is tier pricing. I dont wnat the other two to get messed up in the process of doing this one and i wnat it to work properly.
*NOTE* inside import_newproduct there is already a field to enter price but only one field. I believe this is the field for standard pricing which would be my 1st price. So to save you the work you would only need to put
sku,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 since the first one is the base price and wont be with the other custom/tier pricing.
please take a look at the three csv file i have here hopefully this will give you a better understanding of how this would work. Pretty much when i add a new product i use import_newproduct. When i update inventory i use import_stock, and when i update pricing i use import_tierpricing.
