Project Description

We're looking for a vbulletin coder who can create a Product Catalog vb add-on, either from scratch or by modifying an existing script. This will be used sort of like a price comparison engine with no shopping cart - this will not be a storefront. Here are two scripts we found that we think could be modified to achieve our goals: vbDigiShop [url removed, login to view] vbAdvanced Links Directory: [url removed, login to view] Modifications/features required would include: - Members can post Product reviews based on vb usergroup permissions. - Members can add products to the catalog on the "front end" (without having to go into the admin control panel) based on their vb usergroup permissions. - Each Product should be able to have multiple Vendor links tied to it pointing to different pages. - Each Vendor should be able to be turned on and off, effectively disabling/enabling all links to their site for all Products in the catalog. - There should be stats for "views" for each Product and "click-throughs" for each Vendor link. - The ability to copy a Product from one category to another with the option of aliasing the Product or creating an entirely new Product record. - The Product Catalog should have a Search feature. - The Category pages should have multiple Sorting options for members to use. - The Add Product form should be customizable. A working version of how this project would work can be found here: [url removed, login to view] That site currently achieves all of our goals by using a customized version of OScommerce. We want our solution to work just like that using vbulletin technology.
