PHP page to output MySQL data(repost)

We mail information out to customers on a daily basis. I currently manually export vcards from Sugar CRM, import those vcards into Word and do a mailmerge and print the documents. Then I use Dazzle from [url removed, login to view] to print labels with postage. I would like to reduce the number of steps in this operation so I can turn it over to an employee when we grow. I would like to create a PHP script that does the following: Interface with MySql database of my Sugar CRM and lists specific tasks for specified due date and subject line. Returns and displays contacts list associated with those tasks. Allows review and modifications of fields returned. It does not need to save this back to original database. Outputs a csv list with Vcard info and XML file for Dazzle(mail program) to desktop or specified location. Must be configurable to save default locations for database and output, but modify them as topology changes. The configuration should be accessed on a protected advanced tab, or a config file that I can manually update. Also must mailmerge like Word, populating a document with fields pulled from the database. I would like this to be on the php page rather than having to open another program. The key to this page is to automate the process as much as possible. The program would allow review of merge and modifications to names and addresses, as well as the full name of the user who created the task and enter those into the merged document, then print with specified margins of our letterhead. Finally a check screen, so the operator can quickly check the outgoing packages against the list. The user needs the ability to mark the Sugar tasks complete after the checklist has been finished. ## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

Standards based PHP script. Does not have to be pretty, only professional and easy to understand interface. Must connect to a MySQL database. Users will connect via a browser on XP pro desktops, possibly Linux or Mac too. We use MS Office 2003, but am open to using Open Office for this.
