Project Description

PLEASE READ: I will ONLY respond to those bids that containg a brief description of how they will initially approach this project. Bids that do not adress this project specifically will not receive a response.

The objective of this project is to develop a website to assist travelers in identifying the lowest priced travel options? available amongst the growing number of discount operators.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

The website will take the user’s requirements (dates,? destinations, ect.) and then scour a list of travel websites to find the lowest fares available.? Fares will then be listed? along with details (flight numbers, departure/arrival times, locations, prices including taxes) along with a link to the provider’s website.? The website will also need to be able to “read and understand?? the public websites of the various travel providers (dynamic XML).? Please see the following websites? as examples of what you will need to create:

[url removed, login to view]

We will not process any payment; we will only guide the user to the airline with the lowest fare.? When the user clicks on the fare he wishes to purchase, we will call up the provider's website and send the user to the payment page for processing, on the provider's website.

we do not require any website design (graphics, borders, links, ect.) as this is a 'stand alone' web tool.

Once a programer is accepted, I will update the requirements with specifics (information to collect from the user, travel details to be displayed, websites to be included in the search, ect.)

Examples of the travel sites to be searched are:

[url removed, login to view]

[url removed, login to view]

because these sites can change at anytime, the search must be dynamic and must be able to 'intelligently read and search' for the fares.
