Project Description

1. Phone and web application
2. The PURCHASER downloads the APP (Iphone and Android) and registers. Or registers over the web (basic registration including: company name, abn (AUSTRALIAN BUSINESS NUMBER), contact full name, contact phone number, postal address, email address, website and Mother’s maiden name (to be reminded of password when required)
3. The PURCHASER search for ITEMS by means of:
a. Filtering by brand/manufacturer (optional). Filter autocompletes, then
b. Filtering by ITEM name
4. The options come up and the PURCHASER selects one of them
5. A CATEGORY list for the item selected might be displayed for the PURCHASER to choose one
6. A SUBCATEGORY list might be displayed for the PURCHARSER to choose one
7. The UNIT of measurement of the item is shown for information
8. The PURCHASER enters the quantity required
9. The PURCHASER UN-ticks if equivalent brands are not approved (by default equivalent brands are approved)
10. The PURCHASER repeats the process for as many items as required
11. The PURCHASER might edit any of the items previously created or delete some of them
12. The PURCHASER completes the request for quotation with:
a. Project Name
b. Address for delivery
c. Approximate date required on site, or
d. Definite date required on site (Calendar tool is required)
13. The PURCHASER ticks whether or not alternative materials (other brands) are also to be considered
14. The PURCHASER clicks submit and so the request for quote goes to the SELLER
15. The PURCHASER is asked: “Please confirm this is an SPA quotation, this means, you either have the project or have been shortlisted to win it. Otherwise your account might be temporarily or permanently disabled”
16. The PURCHASER receives a notification on which SELLERS the request has gone to
17. The SELLER receives the email with a link to download the request as pdf (the email includes: Project Name, Address for delivery, approximate date required on site, or definite date required on site, PURCHASER company name, PURCHASER contact name, PURCHASER ABN, Purchaser trade and the link to download pdf
18. A SELLER only receives email with link to a request if:
a. The PURCHASER didn’t tick off the option “allow equivalent materials”
b. The SELLER services the STATE where the project address is located
c. The SELLER has registered at least one material (or its equivalent) included in the request created by the PURCHASER
19. The pdf downloaded by the SELLER includes:
a. Information from the PURCHASER (company name, abn, contact full name, contact phone number, postal address, email address and website)
b. Information about the project Project Name, Address for delivery, Approximate date required on site, or definite date required on site
c. Items to quote: Table with items including the following headings:
Item (as selected by the PURCHASER or its equivalent sold by the specific PURCHASER), Brand/Manufacturer, Unit, Category, Subcategory, Quantity
20. For the first year of operation of the application the sellers will be able to download the requests for quotation for free. After the first year the sellers would need to pay through PAYPAL to download a request for quotation
