Project Description

I am in need of a programmer to create a way for me to insert "expiring" links into emails that are sent out automatically by Aweber.

I have an email list that I occasionally send limited time offers to. So when aweber automatically sends out a certain email (say #5 in the series) I need a link in the email that goes to a sales page if that subscriber clicks the link within X # of days. If they click the link after X number of days, it should redirect to a different URL.

So essentially the script needs to access the subscribers info and send the user to 1 of 2 URLs based on the date.

These emails are sent out automatically by Aweber, and so it needs to integrate so I DONT have to do anything. The "timer" for the link must start when the email is SENT, not when opened or the link clicked. It should be based on when the actual email is sent, as opposed to say, the subscriber's sign up date. (This way I can move the date of the promotion within my autoresponder sequence without messing up the timing).

Also, the promotions are typically a series of emails. So for example:

Email 6 goes out and the subscriber has 1 week to purchase the limited time offer.

2 Days later email 7 goes out and the subscriber now has 5 days to purchase the offer...

Finally, I would like the delivered "solution" to be customizable so that I can reuse it on future promotions. It would be great if there was a simple template I could insert the 2 URLs, and the # of days, and create a new script to use.
